Custom Designed for Each Swimming Area
Gunderboom’s scientists and engineers work closely with beach managers to constuct a BPS™ that meets the project’s specific needs. Each BPS™ is designed to account for:
- Nature, degree and source(s) of contamination
- Beach usage characteristics
- Static physical factors, including bathymetry, bottom conditions, and configuration of the water body
- Dynamic physical factors, including currents, tides and waves
- Natural resource densities, such as areas of high waterfowl populations that may require a bird deterrent system.
Gunderboom engineers can expand any BPS™ design to be incorporated into a larger waterfront development plan to include floating walkways, boat docks and shoreline trails. Boom material is available in a range of colors.
